Debanjan is passionate about helping HR departments drive business value through data-driven people decisions and increased productivity. He has over 19 years of experience in HR consulting and leading HR teams to align the people agenda with the business strategy. Prior to founding Centroid Strategy, Debanjan worked as a Director / Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Aon Hewitt. He successfully designed and implemented HR Transformation and Payroll Integration programs, Organization Design, Performance Management & Compensation and HR Analytics projects in the region. Debanjan continues to actively work with clients on these subjects as well as the Future of Work and the impact of IR4.0 on their workforce.
Previously, as Managing Director of HR for a large international bank, Debanjan worked closely with Business Heads on all people related issues in the region and created better awareness among senior managers on talent management, team leadership and compensation. He led the regional HR team on a complex merger across six countries in APAC, standardizing the organization structure and managing the changes related to the integration of people, compensation & benefits policies, HR processes and payroll.
Debanjan designed and set-up a Global HR Shared Services Center servicing more than 15,000 employees across Asia Pacific, UK and the US. Under his guidance the HR Shared Services Center grew to a size of 100+ members and delivered more than EUR 1 million in cost savings.
A Singapore citizen, Debanjan is well traveled with cultural awareness of working in MNCs and doing business in a matrix organization structure. He has spoken at various international conferences and mentored a HR tech start-up in Singapore.
